Creamy Gochujang Pasta

Ingredients

10 oz pasta - I used bucatini

2 tablespoons olive oil

5 minced garlic

3 green onions sliced separate greens

3 tablespoons gochujang paste ( Korean chili paste )

2 cups heavy whipping cream

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese shredded

1/2 teaspoon salt

Optional- chili oil or chili crisp for garnish

Mince garlic and slice green onions

Shred Parmesan cheese

Directions

Mince garlic and slice green onions

Shred Parmesan cheese

Sauté garlic and whites of green onion in olive oil. 30 seconds.

Add gochujang paste and stir.

Add in heavy whipping cream while mixing add in salt and Parmesan cheese. Cook 2-3 minutes on medium low heat as the sauce thickens the color will start to change to darker. When sauce reaches thicker consistency add in the pasta and mix well and remove from heat immediately so the sauce ( cream and oil ) does not separate.

Garnish with green onions and optional chili oil. Serve immediately.
