Ingredients

1 ½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts

2 tbsp fresh ginger, finely grated

4 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup soy sauce

2 tbsp honey

1-2 tbsp chili paste (to taste)

1 tbsp sesame oil

2 tbsp vegetable oil

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Directions

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, chili paste, garlic, and ginger. Add chicken, ensuring it's well-coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Cook the Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken in a single layer. Sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

Add Sauce: Lower heat and pour in any remaining marinade. Stir and let it bubble for 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce.

Garnish and Serve: Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Enjoy with rice or noodles!
