20-minute Homemade Bread

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup olive oil
Optional: 1 tablespoon dried herbs (rosemary or thyme)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix well.
Make a well in the center and pour in the warm water and olive oil. Stir until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 2-3 minutes until smooth.
Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Optionally, sprinkle dried herbs on top for added flavor.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
