Ingredients

3 Cups all purpose flour or bread flour

1 ½ tsp instant yeast

1 ¼ tsp kosher salt

2 tsp sugar or honey

1 ½ cups water, room temperature

Directions

1: Gather ingredients

2: In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients and use a whisk or spoon to blend well

3: Slowly add the water to the dry mixture stirring until well mixed.

4: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set it in a draft free place for 4 hours to rise

5: Grease an 8x4 loaf pan with butter

6: scrape the dough out onto well floured parchment paper. With floured hands shape the dough roughly into a rectangle, adding flour as needed to keep from sticking. Try to do gently so dough does not deflate much. Then drop into prepared pan

7: sprinkle flour over top and cover pan loosely with a towel and place in a draft free place for one hour to double in size.

8: Heat the over to 425 degrees and bake for 25 minutes until the crust is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
