Dinner Roll Recipe (or cinnamon buns)

1/2 c milk
1/2 c sugar
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c melted butter
1/2 c warm water
2 packages Fleishmann's yeast (active dry)
2 large eggs, beaten
4 1/2 c all purpose flour (m/l)
Additional butter for coating bowls & brushing tops of rolls)
Directions
Scald milk, stir in sugar, salt & butter. Allow to cook to lukewarm.
In a large bowl mix warm water & yeast. Stir until dissolved. Stir in lukewarm milk mixture, beaten eggs, and half the flour. Beat until smooth. add remaining flour gradually mixing as you go. (You may not need all 4 1/2 cups.) Dough should be elastic, slightly stiff but not dry.
Turn dough out on floured board and knead until smooth & very elastic. Takes 8-10 minutes.
Butter the inside of a large mixing bowl. Put dough in bowl & turn to coat all sides. Cover bowl & place in warm place. Should take 1 hour to double in size.
Then punch down & turn onto lightly floured board to shape.
TO MAKE DINNER ROLLS: Pinch off 2-3 tbsp, shape into ball. Place each in muffin pan or baking pan. Cover, rise til twice size. 375 oven, 30-25 minutes. Brush tops with melted butter.
