Easy Honey Garlic Chicken Recipe

1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup chicken stock
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast (in 1-inch cubes)
2 tablespoons olive oil
5 garlic cloves (minced)
Directions
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, chicken stock, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
Whisk together the cornstarch, salt, and garlic powder in a medium mixing bowl. Toss the chicken in the cornstarch mixture. Set aside.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the chicken until it has browned, about 4-6 minutes.
Add the garlic to the pan and sauté for an additional minute, stirring the entire time.
Pour the honey sauce into the pan and cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the heat and serve.
