Ingredients

Suagr 3tbsp

Mirin 1 and 1/2 tbsp (if left out add a bit more sugar)

Soy sauce 1 and 1/3 tbsp

Water 5 tbsp

Potato starch 1tsp (can sub with cornstarch)

Directions

Add sugar, mirin, water, soy sauce, and starch to a pan, mixing them together.

Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring until it thickens to a honey/golden syrup kind of constancy.

Notes

Adjust sugar and soy sauce to your own tastes! If you prefer salty add more soy sauce, less sugar or if you prefer sweet, more sugar less soy sauce!
