🍩✨ Hands down, the SOFTEST donuts I’ve ever made. Fluffy, pillowy clouds with a pumpkin twist and finished with a glossy brown butter maple honey glaze. One bite = fall jackpot. 🍁
Pumpkin Donuts (12):
• 200 g all-purpose flour
• 500 g bread flour
• 130 g cake flour
• 150 g pumpkin purée
• 75 g sugar
• 80 g sourdough starter (optional)
• 7.5 g yeast
• 345 g milk
• 1 ½ eggs (1 large + ½ whisked)
• 15 g salt
• 165 g butter
Brown Butter Maple Honey Glaze:
• 60 g unsalted butter (browned)
• 120 g powdered sugar
• 30 g maple syrup
• 15 g honey (for shine ✨)
• Pinch of salt and about 20g of milk to make it desirable consistency.
Whisk until smooth, dip warm donuts, let the glaze set
