Apple Pie Baked Oats- Your New Comfort Breakfast

Ingredients

Warmed apples coated in cinnamon and coconut sugar has been my latest food obsession. I’ve been adding them to my yogurt bowls and pancakes. Now i’ve added it to my favourite breakfast to make apple pie baked oats!

All you need 👇🏼

1 egg

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup greek yogurt or apple sauce

1 tbsp maple syrup or honey

1/3 cup oat flour (i ended up adding 2 tbsp more)

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp chia seeds (optional)

Sautéed apple 🍎

1 apple

1 tsp coconut sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

a little bit of water

Peel and dice apple. On low to medium heat add the apples to a pan. Coat apples in water, cinnamon and coconut sugar. Warm up apples for 5-8 minutes.

Directions

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Mix all ingredients together in a ramekin. Add in apples and mix well. Bake for 25-30 mins or until golden. Enjoy 🫶🏻
