Smoked Chuck Roast

All you need 👇
2-3 lb boneless chuck roast
Steak seasoning / rub of choice
1-2 cups of bone broth or beef stock
Oil to coat chuck roast
Directions
Preheat smoker to 225°
Coat chuck roast in oil & steak/beef rub of choice
Smoke for 3 hours, flipping chuck roast half way
Preheat crockpot to high
Transfer chuck roast to crock pot with 1-2 cups of broth or stock (just enough to submerge it about half way)
Slow cook on high for 3-4 hours , also flipping half way and serve!

The rub I’m using is called : Black & Tan by Fire & Smoke 🔥
I don’t like to “shred” the entire chuck roast, I like to cut it in large chunks then down the center of the inside of each chunk and then shred with a fork so the pieces aren’t as long & stringy. 🔑
I store with some of the liquid so it doesn’t dry out 💦
