Creamy Chicken Rasta Pasta

1 pound of chicken breast, cut into strips (chicken seasoning)👇🏻
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoons ginger powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
For pasta :
8 ounces penne pasta
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 orange bell pepper , thinly sliced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup Mexican blend cheese shredded
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 cup pasta water if needed
Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish
Directions
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until it's al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet , heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté about 30 seconds.
Add the chicken strips and cook until they're no longer pink in the center.
Add all the seasonings mentioned above 👆🏻
Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
In the same skillet, add unsalted butter then add the sliced red,orange and green bell pepper. Sauté the vegetables until they're tender and slightly caramelized.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir well.
Add the grated Parmesan cheese and Mexican blend cheese.Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes to thicken and the flavors to meld.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta with the sauce and vegetables.
Add the cooked chicken. Mix well.
Garnish with red chili flakes for extra spice (optional)
