3 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup whole milk, warmed

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs, room temperature

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the filling:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

3/4 cup brown sugar

2 tbsp ground cinnamon

For the glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp milk

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Prepare the Dough:

In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

Add warm milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Make the Filling:

Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon to form a spreadable paste.

Assemble:

Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread the cinnamon filling evenly, and cut into strips.

Stack and slice into squares, then layer in a greased loaf pan.

Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.

Bake:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.

Glaze:

Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm bread.
