Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small yellow onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 1/2 cups beef broth

1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 1/2 cups uncooked egg noodles

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Directions

Add the ground beef and diced onion to a large deep skillet over medium heat. Cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking up the meat, until it’s browned and the onions are soft. Drain any extra grease.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in the beef broth, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Add Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.

Add the uncooked egg noodles and mix until they’re mostly covered in the sauce.

Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.

Turn off the heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until everything is creamy and melty.

Let it sit for a couple of minutes to thicken, then top with parsley or green onions if you’d like. Serve hot and enjoy!
