Ingredients

  • 1lb bacon

  • 2oz crumbled gorgonzola

  • 1 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 lb gnocchi

  • 1 leek

  • 1/2 cup white wine

  • 4 cloves garlic

Directions

  1. cook the bacon, transfer to a plate

  2. in same pan, saute the leek, then the garlic

  3. deglaze with white wine, reduce, then add heavy cream

  4. add and melt the gorgonzola

  5. boil the gnocchi, use 1 cup pasta water to thin out the sauce

  6. add the bacon to the sauce

  7. transfer the gnocchi to the sauce and toss
