Apple Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

1 medium apple (150 g / 5.3 oz), peeled and chopped

2 large eggs

2 tbsp cocoa powder (15 g / 0.5 oz)

½ tsp baking powder (2 g)

1 tbsp crushed walnuts (8 g / 0.3 oz), optional topping

Directions

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Blend the apple until completely smooth.

Add eggs, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Blend again until glossy and thick.

Pour the batter into a lined or lightly greased 18 cm (7-inch) round mould.

Sprinkle crushed walnuts evenly on top.

Bake for 18–22 minutes, until set but still slightly soft in the center.

Allow to cool for 10 minutes before removing from the mould.
