Ingredients

1/2 cup beef broth 🥣

1 pound ground beef , browned and drained 🍖

1 teaspoon garlic powder 🧄

4 large potatoes , peeled and diced 🥔

1 cup frozen peas and carrots , thawed 🥦

1 can (10.75 oz) cream of mushroom soup 🍄

1 cup cheddar cheese , shredded (optional ) 🧀

Salt and pepper , to taste

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 onion , chopped 🧅

Directions

Step 1: Brown the Ground Beef 🔥

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.

Season the beef with garlic powder , salt , pepper , and paprika . Stir to combine and set aside.

Step 2: Prep the Slow Cooker 🥄

In the slow cooker, combine the diced potatoes , chopped onion , and beef broth . Stir gently to coat the potatoes and onions in the broth.

Add the browned ground beef , frozen peas and carrots , and cream of mushroom soup . Stir everything together until evenly combined.

Step 3: Cook ⏰

Cover the slow cooker and cook on:

Low for 6–8 hours , or

High for 3–4 hours ,

until the potatoes are tender and the flavors have melded together.

Step 4: Add Cheese (Optional) 🧀

If using cheese, sprinkle the shredded cheddar over the top of the hash during the last 15–20 minutes of cooking. Cover the slow cooker to allow the cheese to melt.

Step 5: Serve 🍽️

Stir the hash gently before serving to ensure everything is well combined.

Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Serve hot as-is or with toppings like sour cream, green onions, or extra shredded cheese for added flair.
