Fruit Cocktail Dessert

2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 medium can fruit cocktail
1/2 c brown sugar
1 c nuts

1/2 c butter
3/4 c sugar
1/2 c cream
Directions
Combine flour, sugar, soda, salt eggs and fruit cocktail. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkled with 1/2 c brown sugar and 1 c nuts. Bake at 325 for 30 - 40 minutes.
Boil butter, sugar, cream for 1 minute. Pour over cake as it comes from the oven. Serve hot.
