Million Dollar Chicken Bake

For the Chicken Filling:
3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1 package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, as needed
For the Crispy Topping:
1½ cups crushed Ritz crackers
4 tablespoons butter, melted
Optional Garnish:
Fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
In a large bowl, add the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the filling is smooth and fully combined.
Lightly grease a baking dish, then spread the chicken mixture evenly into the dish.
In another bowl, stir together the crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter until the crumbs are coated. Scatter the mixture evenly over the top.
Place the casserole in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25–30 minutes, until hot and bubbly with a golden, crunchy topping.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired and serve while warm.
