Ingredients

Starting off strong with these classic Lemon Bars—buttery shortbread crust + silky, tangy lemon filling = pure sunshine in every bite! ✨ These are easy to make and SO refreshing! Here’s how to whip up a batch:

Recipe:

For the crust:

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

¼ cup powdered sugar

1 cup all-purpose flour

Pinch salt

For the filling:

3 large eggs

1 cup + 2 tbsp granulated sugar

½ cup fresh lemon juice

1 tbsp lemon zest

¼ cup all-purpose flour, sifted

Powdered sugar for dusting

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8” pan with parchment paper.

Cream butter & powdered sugar until fluffy. Mix in flour & salt. Press into pan & bake 13-14 min (until edges are golden).

While crust bakes, whisk eggs, sugar, lemon juice, zest & flour until smooth. Pour over warm crust.

Bake another 20-22 min until set. Let cool, then dust with powdered sugar. Slice & enjoy!
