Ingredients

This dish has been clutch from childhood to adulthood and everything in between. If you love ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ถ (afghan dumplings) then this homemade, deconstructed version will win you over!

Can you believe you can make this delicious dish for under $10 in under 10 minutes!

Hereโ€™s everything youโ€™ll need:

Medium sized pasta shells (I prefer this pasta shape because it really captures all the delicious goodness of the ๐˜ฌ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง๐˜ต๐˜ข meat and sauces)

Ground beef/veal (support your local butcher shops โ™ฅ๏ธ)

One chopped onion

One minced garlic

Tomato paste

Garlic yogurt sauce (I add sour cream to this to make it nice and thick)

Garnish with dry mint, fresh parsley, paprika, cayenne and a pinch of salt and pepper and you have yourself the perfect home cooked meal!

Are you team Turkish pasta or Afghan macaroni? ๐Ÿ˜
