1 cup Rava
1 cup Ghee
2 cups Sugar
¾ tsp Cardamom
2 cups Lukewarm Water
¼ tsp Saffron
In a hot pan, add ghee and roast cashews and raisin, and set aside.
Same hot ghee, add rava and fry for few seconds. (Do not fry too much, rave will change colour).
Into the rava, add lukewarm water and stir until rava thickens.
Add sugar and mixing really well until sugar melts.
Add saffron and cardamom powder and mix in medium high heat until rava is loose sticky.
Add roasted cashews and raisin and mix well.
Allow to rest for 10 minutes.
Kesari is ready to serve.
You may skip cashew and raisin if you don't like it.
