350g ground pork
650g fennel
3 stalks spring onion
1 tsp Ginger
Chicken powder / MSG
1 egg
2 tbsp salt
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1kg of dumpling skins (around 100)
Directions
Add pork, salt, and soy sauce to a large mixing bowl. Finely dice spring onion and ginger and mix together. Add egg and oil. Add water little by little.
Wash and cut fennel, then mix into meat mixture right before wrapping the dumplings.
Boil the wrapped dumplings by bringing a large pot of water to a boil, then carefully add in the dumplings. Stir the dumplings to prevent sticking to the bottom. When the pot comes to boil again, add 1/2 cup of cold water. Repeat 2 more times and the dumplings are ready. Total boiling time should be around 6-8 minutes.
Serve hot with dipping sauce (rice vinegar and garlic)
