BEST Deviled Eggs Recipe

2-1/2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
3 teaspoons of American style yellow mustard
1 tablespoon of sweet pickle relish
paprika (for garnish)
Optional: replace mustard and sweet pickles with Piccalilli (chopped small)
Directions
Boil The Eggs
Boil the eggs. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Reduce the heat to low (or off) to ensure the water is no longer boiling or has any bubbles. Use a skimmer to place the eggs in the water. Then, increase the heat back to high and set a timer for 14 minutes.
Slice in Half
Peel and slice the eggs. Once the eggs have cooled completely, peel them and slice in half lengthwise. With a small spoon, remove the yolks to a mixing bowl and place the egg whites on a plate.
Stir Ingredients
Make the filling. Mash the yolks with a fork and add the mayonnaise, mustard, and sweet relish. Stir everything together until it's smooth.
Add Mixture
Fill and serve. Use a spoon to add a portion of the deviled egg mixture back into the hole of each egg white. Add a sprinkle of paprika for garnish.
