French Onion Soup Beans

Ingredients

3 tablespoons unsalted butter🧈

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 white onions

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cracked black pepper

2 tablespoons (gluten free) flour

1 cup beef (or vegetable) stock

2 cans butter beans🫘

2 tablespoons white miso paste (optional)

fresh thyme

1/2 cup shredded gruyère (optional)🧀

parsley

Directions

slice white onions and caramelize in your pot with 2 tablespoons of butter and olive oil. add salt and pepper.

once your onions are caramelized add 1 tablespoon of butter and the flour. stir.

add beef stock, beans, miso paste, and thyme. mix together and let simmer for at least 10 minutes.

mix in gruyère.

you’re now ready to serve and eat! garnish with parsley😋
