Southern Pinto Beans and Ham Hocks Made in the Crock Pot

Ingredients

3 large smoked pork hocks

3 Cups dry pinto beans,sorted and washed

1 medium sized yellow onion diced

1 tbsp minced garlic

2 tsp Seasoning Salt

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

4 Cups Water

4 Cups Chicken Stock

* Chopped green onions for garnishing optional

Directions

1. After sorting and washing the beans, put them in the crock pot.

2. Add in the onions, garlic, and ham hocks

3. Pour in the water & chicken stock, then sprinkle in the seasonings.

4. Cover the Crock Pot, then set on high for 6 hours.

5. Garnish with green onions (optional).
