Blackened Chicken

4 Chicken Breasts

2 tbsp Olive Oil

1 Lemon juiced

Blackening Seasoning

2 tbsp Paprika

1 tbsp Garlic Powder

1 tbsp Onion Powder

1 tbsp Dried Thyme

1 tbsp Dried Oregano

2 tsp Black Pepper

1 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper


1/4 cup diced sundried tomatoes

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Sear in iron skillet for 5 min

After the first initial sear, flip the chicken and then place it in a 365 F. oven for 10 min or until the chicken reaches 165 F internal. 5-10 min rest and a fresh squeeze of lemon before slicing.
