Ingredients

1 tablespoon of oil in medium heat pan

1/2 yellow onion diced or 1/2 cup

1 1/2 cups of Ditalini pasta

drizzle of olive oil

Cook onions and pasta until pasta is golden and toasted, and onions are translucent.

3 grated garlic cloves

1 1/2 cups of chicken stock

Bring pasta to a boil cover and set heat to low. Cook until pasta is al dente or your desired texture. About 9-10 min and you should have a little liquid still left in pan

1 cup chopped asparagus

2 tablespoons of butter

1/3 cup of whole milk or heavy cream

1 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
