Zucchini!

Flour

Egg

Progresso “Italian Style” Breadcrumbs

Salt

Garlic Powder

McCormicks Perfect Pinch rotisserie chicken seasoning

Oil of choice (dad used corn oil)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Optional: onion powder, pepper, any other herbs to season the breading

Directions

First prep the 3 separate bowls:

  • Flour: add salt, garlic powder, and McCormicks Perfect Pinch rotisserie chicken seasoning

  • Egg: mangled

  • Breadcrumbs: Add salt and garlic powder

  1. Cut zucchini ends off and cut into sticks

  2. Pat dry with paper towels

  3. Coat with seasoned flour

  4. Dunk in egg

  5. Coat in seasoned breadcrumbs

  6. Fry in oil at 350f

Notes

The amount of egg you leave on before breadcrumbs controls how thick the breading layer turns out to be

In step 1 you can cut out some seeds which will help reduce the moisture in the sticks and keep the breading crispy after frying
