Lily’s Banana Bread

1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup white sugar /coconut sugar
1/4 cup crushed walnuts
1 egg
1/4 cup oil (neutral oil)/coconut oil
1 cup mashed bananas (ripe) (2 and 1/2 bananas)
1/2 cup milk
1-2 tsp orange rinnd
2 tbs maple syrup (1 for cake and 1 for top decoration)
2 tbs white sugar (for top decorations)
pinch crushed walnuts (for top decorations)
Directions
Combine the first 5 dry ingredients in a bowl
Then in another bowl combine the egg, oil, mashed bananas and milk (you can use a mixer)
Add the orange rind to the wet mix
Mix the two together with a spatula until all is wet. Do not overmix.
Grease loaf pan and pour in 1/2 the mixture into the pan
Take the tsp of maple syrup and form an "s" over the mixture then pour the second half
For the topping, make another "s" on top of the bread and sprinkle the white sugar on top with the curshed walnuts (Makes it crunchy once baked)
Bake at 350F for 50-60 minutes
