Welcome to Wholesome Summer Cravings, heatwave edition – Episode 9, where I share delicious and nutritious no-cook recipes.
If you have frozen fruit in your freezer, you’re only a few minutes away from the most refreshing summer dessert. 🍉🍓✨
This watermelon and strawberry sorbet is bursting with fresh flavour, and made with just 4 simple ingredients. No ice cream maker, no refined sugar, and no complicated steps.
Save this recipe for your next sunny day! ☀️
You’ll need:
300g frozen watermelon
300g frozen strawberries
Juice of 1 lime
1–2 tsp honey (optional)
Simply blend until smooth. Enjoy it straight away for a soft-serve consistency, or freeze for 1–2 hours if you prefer a firmer, scoopable sorbet.
It’s the perfect healthy dessert for hot summer days, BBQs, or whenever you’re craving something cold and fruity.
Tip: If your fruit was very ripe before freezing, you may not need any honey at all. The lime juice helps bring out the fruit’s natural sweetness.
