Greek honey puffs—crispy outside, soft inside, soaked in syrup & sprinkled with nuts 🍯🌰

Ingredients

• 300g flour (10.5oz)

• 100ml honey (3.5oz)

• 7g dry yeast (0.25oz)

• 250ml warm water

• Pinch of salt

• Oil for frying

• Chopped walnuts & cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

1️⃣ Mix yeast with warm water and rest 10 min.

2️⃣ Add flour and salt. Mix to a thick batter.

3️⃣ Let rise 1 hour until bubbly.

4️⃣ Drop spoonfuls into hot oil, fry until golden.

5️⃣ Drizzle with honey and sprinkle nuts & cinnamon.
