CHICK-FIL-A CHICKEN NUGGETS AND CHICK-FIL-A SAUCE

Ingredients

1 large egg

1 cup milk

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1¼ cups all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

½ teaspoon chili powder

Canola oil, for frying

1 recipe Chick-fil-A Sauce

Directions

In a large bowl, whisk egg and milk together. Cut chicken into cubed, bite-size pieces, trimming off any fat. Put the chicken in the milk mixture and toss until well coated. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes. In another large bowi, combine flour, powdered sugar, salt, pepper, and chili powder and stir; set aside. Pour 1 inch oil in a cast iron pot or large saucepan and heat over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from refrigerator and place about 8 pieces in the four mixture. Make sure chicken pieces are coated with the four, then place them carefuly into the hot oil. Cook each side for at least 2 to 3 min- utes, or until golden brown and chicken is cooked through. Place chickech nia per towels to soak up any oil. Repeat the same steps with the rest of the chicken.
