4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley or dill, for garnish (optional)
Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions
Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Step 2:
Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down if applicable. Pat them dry with paper towels.
Step 3:
In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Step 4:
Brush or spoon the garlic butter mixture generously over each piece of salmon, making sure to coat evenly.
Step 5:
Bake for 12–15 minutes, depending on thickness, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Step 6:
Remove from oven and let rest for 2–3 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley or dill and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Do not overcook! This will cause it to be dry. Check the temperature.
Pat the salmon dry before seasoning
