½ cup thinly sliced green onions
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
2½ tablespoons lower- sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
1 teaspoon grated peeled fresh ginger
1 teaspoon sambal oelek (ground fresh chile paste)
8 skinless, boneless chicken thighs (about 1½ pounds)

Directions
1. Combine first 8 ingredients, stirring with a whisk. Combine half of soy sauce mixture and chicken in a bowl; toss.
2. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Coat with cooking spray. Add chicken; cook 4 minutes on each side or until done. Transfer chicken to a platter; drizzle with remaining soy mixture.
