1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
4 hamburger buns

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the sliced onions and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring often, until golden and caramelized.

Add ground beef and cook until fully browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Drain excess fat, then stir in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Let the mixture simmer for another 5 minutes for the flavors to come together.
While simmering, toast the hamburger buns.
Scoop the beef mixture onto the bottom half of each bun, top with shredded Swiss cheese, and place the top bun.
