4 Ingredient Cacio E Pepe Pretzels

Ingredients

Inspired by Cacio e Pepe pasta - these are loaded with Parmesan cheese and black pepper for an easy and delicious snack!

4-5 cups mini pretzels, I used tiny twists

1/4 cup melted unsalted butter

Heaping 1/2 cup grated parmesan. I used the kind in the green can. You can also use fresh but make sure to finely grate it.

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (see note) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Add the pretzels to a large mixing bowl and toss with the melted butter, grated parmesan, and pepper. Adjust the amount of parmesan and pepper to your preferences.

Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes until the parmesan has started to melt and clump together and the pretzels are getting just lightly toasted. Keep a close eye so they don’t burn.

Allow to cool and enjoy!

If your oven runs hot or you are using a dark, nonstick baking sheet then best to lower oven temp to 325
