I threw bacon and butter in a skillet, added, jalapeños, onions, Salt, garlic, and broth, then blended it with pinto beans and topped it with cheese.
Bean dip
2 tablespoons butter,
4 or 5 strips of bacon
1/2 large yellow onion, chopped
2 fresh jalapeños, sliced (seeds and membrane removed)
1 teaspoon of sea salt
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2-40 ounce cans Sun Vista, pinto beans, partially drained
3/4 cup chicken broth
Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Cook bacon and butter in skillet over medium heat. Add jalapeño and onion, stir and golden. Add salt and garlic. Add pinto beans and chicken broth. Cook for about 10 or 15 minutes. Carefully pour mixture into blender. I left my lid spout open so it didn’t burst. Blend till smooth. Return mixture to pan and let it thicken up a bit. Top with cheese and enjoy with chips or rolled inside of burritos. Absolutely delish!
