Cheater lasagna

9x13 pan

1- 1 1/4 lbs ground beef (whatever pack you can find)

4 cloves garlic, crushed or minced

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp oregano

2 Tbsp onion flakes

2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce

1 tsp sugar

2 (8oz) cans tomato sauce

8oz package medium egg noodles

1 (8oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup cottage cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar

1 cup shredded mozzarella


1. Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9x13 glass dish.

2. Swirl around Nature's Seasoning into bottom of a skillet and turn to medium heat. Cook and break up beef until no longer pink. Drain off fat.

3. Add garlic, salt, pepper,oregano, onion flakes, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and tomato sauce. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.

3. Cook egg noodles according to package directions. While these are cooking, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth.

4. Drain noodles and add to the 9x13. Immediately add the dairy mixture and mix until combined.

5. Top noodle mixture with meat mixture and then sprinkle with shredded cheese.

6. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes until bubbly.

Enjoy with garlic bread!


*you can use two 8x8 dishes instead if it fits in your fridge better. Cooks the same amount of time.

*you can make this ahead and refrigerate for a day before baking. Just take out about 15 mintues before baking and let it sit at room temp. Cook as normal.
