Air Fryer Burgers

1 pound ground beef 80/20
4 teaspoons Homemade Hamburger Seasoning (or store-bought burger seasoning)
4 hamburger buns
4 slices American cheese (sub cheddar, pepper jack, or swiss cheese slices)
Directions
Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.
Divide the ground beef into four equal portions. Press each portion into a hamburger patty at least 1-inch wider than the size of the hamburger buns. (They will shrink as they cook.)
Sprinkle each patty liberally with burger seasoning, on both sides.
Once the air fryer is hot, carefully move the hamburger patties to the air fryer basket. Air fry the patties for 5 minutes. Then carefully flip each patty over and continue to cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes. 3 minutes for a warm pink center.
If adding cheese, place a slice of cheese over the top of each patty then close the air fryer basket. Do not turn the air fryer on, just allow the residual heat from the air fryer basket to warm and melt the cheese for 1-2 minutes.
Meanwhile, place your favorite burger condiments and toppings on the hamburger buns. Once the cheese has melted, move a patty to each bun and serve warm.
