Ingredients

1lb beef

Half an onion

3/4 cup of breadcrumbs

1 egg

3tsp of chemoula

Lemon

Garlic

Salt and pepper

1 1/2 cups Rice

Tomato

Cucumber

Feta

Directions

For meat patties

Mix 1 pound beef, half an onion chopped up small, 3/4 cups breadcrumbs, 1 egg, 3tsp of chermoula, lemon zest, spoonful of garlic, salt and pepper

Mix with hands

Make into patties

Heat up pan on 5 with oil

Fry for 5 minutes on each side

For rice

Rinse 1 1/2 cup rice

Fry spoonful of garlic in a small saucepan with a little oil and a little butter (5 heat)

Add in rice and 3 cups of water

Bring to a boil

Cover with a lid

Leave for 10 minutes

For salad

Chop up 1 tomato, 1 cucumber

Add to a bowl with a squeeze of lemon, feta, 2tbsp of oil, salt and pepper

Chermoula spices

2 tbsp ground cumin

1 tbsp ground coriander

2 tsp ground chili powder

2 tsp ground sweet paprika

1.5 tsp ground cinnamon

1.5 tsp ground ginger

1 tsp ground allspice

.75 tsp ground turmeric

.5 tsp ground cayenne pepper
