How to Make Jarred Alfredo Sauce Better

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter (not margarine)

2 tablespoons minced garlic

15 ounce jar of alfredo sauce (our favorite is Bertoli)

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1/4 cup freshly shredded Parmesan

Directions

Heat butter over medium heat in a medium saucepan.

Once melted, add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add the jar of sauce, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Stir to mix.

Bring to just a simmer. Add cheese and simmer until cheese is melted, stirring often. Serve immediately over pasta, with chicken or shrimp, or however you prefer.
