Homemade Slice & Bake Cookie Dough

Ingredients

2 1/4c flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1c unsalted butter, room temperature

1/2c granulated sugar

1c packed brown sugar

1 tsp salt

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 eggs

1c semi sweet chocolate chips

In small bowl, combine flour and baking soda.

In medium bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.

Directions

Add add vanilla and eggs and beat until combined.

Gradually add the bowl of dry ingredients.

Fold in chocolate chips.

Chill the dough in the fridge for 1 hour.

Divide dough in half and place each half on plastic wrap or wax paper. Roll into a log shape.

Refrigerate for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.

TO BAKE:

Preheat oven to 350. Slice 1/4-1/2 inch thick slices. Bake time will vary depending on thickness of cookie.

Bake for 9-11 minutes if refrigerated, 12-15 minutes from frozen or until golden. Bake time will vary depending on thickness of cookie.
