Directions
Chicken
3β4 chicken breasts or 4β6 chicken thighs
1β2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Β½ tsp black pepper
Β½ tsp salt
ΒΌβΒ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
Honey BBQ Sauce
1 cup BBQ sauce
ΒΌ cup honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1β2 tsp minced garlic (optional but recommended)
Garnish
Fresh parsley
Optional: green onions, sesame seeds
π Instructions
1. Prepare the Chicken
Pat the chicken dry. Rub with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
2. Mix the Sauce
In a bowl, whisk BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire, garlic, and chili flakes until smooth.
3. Coat the Chicken
Place chicken in a baking dish or oven-safe pan. Pour the sauce on top and coat evenly.
4. Bake
Bake at 400Β°F (200Β°C) for 22β28 minutes, depending on thickness:
Breasts: 22β25 min
Thighs: 25β28 min
Chicken is done when it reaches 165Β°F (74Β°C).
5. Caramelize
Turn the oven to broil. Broil for 2β3 minutes until the edges become sticky and slightly charred.
6. Serve
Let rest 5 minutes. Spoon extra sauce from the pan over the chicken. Top with fresh parsley.
