Kartoffelkuchen (Potato Pie)

Ingredients

Cook 8-10 medium-sized potatoes in salted water.

Drain and toss in a little oil & salt.

Squeeze into a springform pan lined with baking paper and pull up the edge as well. Put a little cheese on top.

For the filling:

Fry 300g ground beef vigorously and season

Cut the following vegetables into small cubes and sauté them in a little oil for about 10 minutes:

1/2 celery bulb

2 carrots

2 stalks of leeks

1 onion

Salt & pepper generously. Now add the minced meat with plenty of freshly chopped parsley and chives.

Add this mix to your mold with a little grated cheese.

For the icing you whisk:

2 eggs

200ml cream

1 teaspoon nutmeg. Salt & Pepper.

Add it to the vegetable mince mix and bake the whole thing for about 40 minutes at 180 degrees top and bottom heat until golden brown.

When the time is up, pick it with a fork and see if everything is solidified. Otherwise bake for another 5-10 minutes
