Cinnamon Sugar Donuts

Ingredients

1 large egg

1 cup spelt flour (Bobs Red Mill is my favorite)

1/3 cup packed brown sugar

1 1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 cup low fat sour cream

1 tsp vanilla

2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup ground cinnamon

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350F. Spray donut pan with nonstick spray

In a medium bowl, whisk together brown sugar and egg. Ad your milk, sour cream, and vanilla and whisk until combined

Then add in your dry ingredients: coconut sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt

Spoon the mixture into the donut pan. Make sure it is spread evenly

Bake donuts for 8-10 minutes

While this cooks, melt your butter. In a separate small bowl combine your sugar and cinnamon

Once the donuts have cooled, dip them in the butter and then dip in sugar mixture. SERVE
