Toastin’ It Up with a Seafood Twist

Ingredients

10 oz peeled and deveined shrimp

1 1/2 cups mayo

2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

1 tsp salt

2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp hot sauce

1/2 tsp old bay

1/2 tsp garlic powder

6 oz lump crab

1 1/2 cups green onions (thinly sliced)

Sliced baguette, for serving

Roasted Garlic and Shallots

1 medium sized shallot (cut into quarters)

1 garlic head

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

Directions

Add garlic and shallot to the basket of an air fryer. Coat with olive oil and season with salt. Air fry at 400°F for 30-45 minutes or until it softens. Check at the 30 minute mark .Once garlic and shallots have cooled down, mash till it becomes a paste and set aside.

Meanwhile, mince the shrimp until it becomes paste-like.

In a large bowl add minced shrimp, mayo, cheeses, seasonings, and shallot garlic paste.

Give it a good mix then fold in green onions and crab.

Spread about 2 tablespoons of mixture on sliced bread.

Air fry at 375° for 8-9 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
