Creamy Sausage & Veggie Rigatoni

Ingredients

1 onion

2 carrots

2 celery stalks

spinach

olive oil

1 lb ground italian sausage

garlic

italian seasoning

red pepper flakes

salt & pepper

15 oz tomato sauce

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

16oz rigatoni

Directions

prep vegetables

boil rigatoni until al denté

heat olive oil in a large sauté pan

cook italian sausage until browned

add in onions, carrots, celery, garlic, and seasonings and sauté until vegetables are tender

mix in tomato sauce, chicken broth and heavy cream and bring to a boil

simmer until sauce is slightly thickened

stir in cooked pasta and chopped spinach, heat through
