Creamy Crab and Shrimp Seafood Bisque

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 carrot, diced

1 celery stalk, diced

1/4 cup tomato paste

4 cups seafood stock

1 cup heavy cream

1 lb crab meat, picked over for shells

1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté onion, garlic, carrot, and celery for 5 minutes until softened.

Stir in tomato paste and cook for 2 more minutes to deepen the flavor.

Pour in seafood stock and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 15 minutes to build flavor.

Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream, crab meat, shrimp, and Old Bay seasoning.

Simmer gently for 5–7 minutes until shrimp are pink and fully cooked.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Ladle into bowls and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
