Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Cooking oil
1 pound ground chicken
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, diced
¼ cup hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
2 tablespoon Thai sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1 (8-ounce) can whole water chestnuts, drained and diced
2 green onions, chopped
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Juice of 1 lime
1 head butter lettuce
More green onions for garnish
Sesame seeds for garnish
Directions
Heat 2 tablespoon of cooking oil in a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat
Add ground chicken, breaking it apart with a spatula. 3. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until browned.
Add in onion, garlic, and ginger and sauté for a few minutes until soft and fragrant.
Add hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and sweet chili sauce. Mix until well combined.
Add chopped chestnuts and green onions, and cook until tender. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and drizzle with lime juice.
Spoon the meat mixture into each butter lettuce cup. Sprinkle more green onions and sesame seeds on top. Drizzle or dip into sweet chili sauce if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
