Episode 3: Easy Asian Veggies

Ingredients

1 bag (12oz) of soybean sprouts

2 garlic cloves, finely minced

2 green onions, chopped

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

Toasted sesame seeds to taste

Salt to taste (I like to use kosher salt)

Optional: Gochugaru (Korean hot pepper flakes) to taste

Directions

Blanch soybean sprouts. Add water and salt in a pot and bring to a boil. Once boiling add bean sprouts. Cook for 4 minutes. Strain and rinse.

Transfer to a mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix by hand. Taste and adjust.

Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy!

This can stay in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Or you can eat the entire thing for 44g protein and 8g of fiber - yum!
